Use the Nucleus-Nano Wireless Focus Control System from Tilta to wirelessly control the focus of most DSLR, mirrorless, or cine-style lenses. The core of the system is the pairing of the focus control motor and the focus handwheel. The units can connect to each other from 300' away, and can be mounted in a variety of ways. The units support run/stop functions and setting hard A and B limits for more control over your camera and lens. The handwheel is powered by a single 14500 lithium battery and the motor is powered by your camera or a battery via its micro-USB connector. The units are both constructed of durable materials, and the handwheel features an attractive, comfortable rosewood grip. Tilta Nucleus-Nano Wireless Focus Hand Wheel Controller

Pair this Nucleus-Nano Wireless Focus Hand Wheel Controller from Tilta with the Nucleus-Nano Motor to wirelessly control the focus of most DSLR, mirrorless, or cine-style lenses. The large Hand Wheel responds with no delay as it wirelessly controls the separately available Nucleus-Nano motor from up to 300' away via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and it lasts up to six hours on a single 3.7V 14500 lithium-ion battery. You can also perform run/stop functions and set hard A and B limits with the buttons on the wheel for more control over your camera and lens. The Hand Wheel is constructed with aluminum, plastic, rubber, and a sleek rosewood-lined handle for comfort and style. Tilta Nucleus-Nano Wireless Lens Control Motor

Pair this Nucleus-Nano Lens Control Motor from Tilta with the separately available Nucleus-Nano Focus Hand Wheel or Nucleus-M FIZ unit to wirelessly control the focus of most DSLR, mirrorless, or cine-style lenses. The motor comes with a standard 0.8 MOD cine lens gear, operates at up to 1Nm of torque, and can connect wirelessly to the Nucleus-Nano Focus Hand Wheel from up to 300' away. The motor calibrates to your lens automatically, but you can choose to calibrate manually. You can also perform run/stop functions and set hard A and B limits with the buttons on the Hand Wheel for more control over your camera and lens. The motor is also compatible with the Nucleus-M FIZ hand unit and handgrips. The motor draws power via a 5-18V micro-USB port from a gimbal or D-Tap battery with a separately available cable. The motor is constructed with aluminum, plastic, and stainless steel for durability. It can mount on a stand, rig, or gimbal with its built-in 15mm rod clamp.

The Mars 400S from Hollyland is an entry-level 1080p60 transmitter/receiver system featuring a 400' line-of-sight transmission range. In a compact design, the transmitter and receiver each have an SDI and HDMI connection. The choice between the two connection types expands your compatibility options and also lets you grow in case currently you only need one. Additionally, an optional second receiver can be linked up to the transmitter to accept the signal at the same time. The transmitter is also capable of sending the signal over built-in Wi-Fi to up to four mobile devices, whether it is also sending to a receiver at the time or not. This will allow different people/departments on the set to view the image being captured. The image is sent to the HollyView app, which is compatible with iOS and Android. Both the transmitter and receiver have a built-in L-series battery plate and also support DC power. Batteries are sold separately. One power adapter is included to get you started on the receiver end. Both units also have an OLED display that confirms the resolution, transmission channel, signal strength, and other details. The display also shows a low battery warning when there are about 30 minutes of runtime left. One of the features of the Mars 400 system is a channel scan function. Via the OLED display, you can see the status of each selectable transmission channel in the environment you're in. This feature lets you know which channels are good and which have interference. Another feature is scene mode selection, which allows you to select from three different scene modes as best suits your environment. The three modes let you prioritize between video quality, low latency, or a balance between the two. The panels can be used to achieve precise results quicker and with more technical gratification than possible with a keyboard and mouse. The list of supporting software is a growing one and includes such applications as DaVinci Resolve, SCRATCH, On-Set Dailies, Mistika, and YoYo.

The controls of the panels can be programmed and reprogrammed to operate different functions. The manufacturers of supporting software designate the functions that each panel and its controls can operate, and the manufacturers make available the details of their designations in either the respective software manuals or by phone or email upon contact, depending on the manufacturer.

Upon a control’s being programmed, its functionality gets labeled on the display screen of its panel. When reprogrammed, its functionality gets re-labeled. The display screens have white OLED bulbs and show crisp, high-contrast, high-resolution easy-to-read characters.

The Tk panel has three programmable trackerballs and three programmable rings atop the balls. It has separate reset buttons for each ball and ring, and two buttons to program functions like ALT and Shift into. The trackerballs and rings work by optical laser pickup for high-precision and extended life. The trackerballs can be removed for cleaning, and they can be reinstalled quite easily.
